Hello, thanks for stopping by

I have come to being an independent celebrant following my long and successful career as a primary headteacher in two rural schools in West Sussex. During that time, I loved the conversations with families, children and their parents, to share the best and sometimes the most challenging of times and to support them.

I am trained by the International College of Professional Celebrants -ICPC UK. I chose this training provider because it is really important to me that we have the choice to create services that have the opportunity to add in content from any faith or none, including prayer, blessings, poetry, hymns, songs and music of a religious and non-religious nature. Gathering the true essence of the person/people we are celebrating and representing is vital to me!

I love being outdoors and spend a lot of time in my garden alongside my husband and our cats. We particularly enjoy growing vegetables and spending time around the wildlife pond we have created. We hope to be also able to offer this beautiful natural space for ceremonies, so do get in touch if you would like this option.

I also work as a Geography and Leadership consultant, a forest school leader and a coach and tutor for children and young people.

From 'I do' to fond farewells, I'm here to help you celebrate life's biggest moments with heart, warmth and compassion.
